From 12 to 14 March 2026, KOM 018, Niš hosted the Experts’ Meeting within the CIVIKO project – an innovative European initiative transforming democratic participation into an engaging, game-based experience for young people. Experts from partner organizations came together to shape the concept, structure, and goals of the CIVIKO board game and toolkit, while also defining the research methodology and identifying key democratic topics, historical contexts, and participation barriers to be integrated into the game.

is launching a bold and playful mission: CIVIKO — a European project that transforms democratic participation into a game-changing experience for young people!

CIVICO project will be implemented from 01.11.2025 to 31.10.2027 in Italy, Estonia, Greece, Serbia, Portugal and Belgium. It is co-financed by the EU.
