14.7.2013.
Today was the first day of the training. The first day was reserved for meeting with participants and getting know each other trough some interesting name games. Later that day the host organized one kind of competition trough which will learn more about Serbia, Nis. Between these activities the host took us for a lunch at the fortress which was very nice. The night was reserved for presentation of our NGO’s (what we do, and what we present). And later in the night a surprised bay party for two of the participants. We had a cake, music, dance and drink. At this point we can say that we had very dynamic and interesting day.

15.7.2013.
Monday was interesting and productive day. As usual we started with nice breakfast. First workshop was presentation of Youth in Action program, where we were separated in groups and our goal was to to show our team work skills. Later, we had photography session, where we learn some basics about photography. As a result of that workshop, we had photo hunt in city center and we made a presentation of our photos, made trough photo hunt. In the evening we went to a restaurant for dinner. Conclusion, DYNAMIC AND INTERESTING DAY!

16.7.2013.
As usual we started the morning with an energizer that helped us to wake up. After that, we were divided into four groups with some interesting tasks. Each group had to make up a story of their crew, how they met, what their name is, make logo, to write and act a hip hop song and to make coreography. It was a lot of fun to see the different kinds of performances. We were suprised by seeing our mentros making there own performance as well. After lunch in „kafana“, we started the workshops and prepared ourselves for the final event. In the evening we had an intercultural night, where all of the participants presented their culture, foods and drinks. All in all, we can say that this day was very creative and extraordinary.

17.7.2013.
Today we started the day with an energizer. We had a game about different types of communication, including writing, drawing, speaking and miming. We learned that communication doesn’t have to be verbal but can be expressed through different types of art and body language.
The next workshop was about discrimination, stereotypes and prejudice. We learned that you can’t judge a book by its cover.
For lunch we went to very significant monument in Nis, “Bubanj”, where we released balloons with our messages to the world.
When we came back we had our afternoon workshop in the thematic groups. The work was very helpful and we made a lot of progress.
We finished the day in a kafana called “Nislijska mehana”, where we had dinner and enjoyed the traditional live music.

18.7.2013.
We started the morning in interesting way, with the “Ha-ha” game. As usually we drew one of the one of the arm of Frankenstein. After this we started the iceberg theory and workshop about marginalized groups. Some of the people went to press-conference to promote the event. In the evening dance group finished the choreography, photo group prepared their photo for exhibition, graffiti group made the sketches and the music group went to the studio to record a song. We finished this nice day by dancing in the disco.

The days of the final event and highlight of our training finally came After the busy morning, final preparations and promotion in the city center, we headed to the Amphitheater at the river bank of Nisava. The stage, the lights and all other equipment was there, and soon after we did final works, people started to arrive. By the time our program began, the place was packed with people. Thousands of people from Nis came to see our photo exhibition, our choreography, to hear our song, see how we draw the graffiti and to see our great support of Serbian artists who gave their best to make this night special for all of us. We owe then big thanks, as well as we owe big thanks to people of Nis! No matter the program was more than 6 hours long, the crowd was just getting bigger and more people were coming to see us. It is very hard to describe all the emotions that we felt in all these moments. This was the night to remember.

This was the last day of the training. We were still under the impressions from the previous night and excited that the event was so successful so we spent a good part of the day talking about it! We did the planning for the future actions, we created our youthpasses and did the final evaluation. We also revealed our secret friends and wrote nice messages to each other. At night we celebrated the successful end of the training, feeling sorry we had to go back home but knowing that we would meet again for sure. We wish it would at Know It, Show It, Share It – Volume 3.
