KOM 018 and Faculty of Law in Nis implement the project “Mobile legal clinic-service for deprived groups” with the support of Embassy of the Netherlands in Serbia and in Montenegro. Press conference, held on 19th January was about introducing the project “Mobile legal clinic-service for deprived groups” activities and objectives. Project implies free legal assistance to deprived groups.
Specific objectives of the project – to provide law students with the knowledge, skills and competences to protect and promote human rights, support them with additional educational opportunities and support their engagement in their local communities, to support people from vulnerable groups in obtaining their human rights and to contribute to combat against violence of human rights were presented during the press conference, together with the activities of the project. After press conference, partners on the project: Center for social work “Sveti Sava” Nis, Gerontology center Nis, Roma women association “Osvit” Nis and Association of Roma “Prokuplje” signed cooperation agreements with project coordinators KOM 018 and Faculty of Law. We look forward to future cooperation and activities within the project.
