Volunteers of the Youth Empowerment Club 018 (KOM 018) on 01.03. conducted a street action for the occasion of the International Zero Discrimination Day. During the street action, the organization’s volunteers distributed postcards and stickers with positive messages that were made as part of the “Safebook for safe youth” project.

Youth Empowerment Club 018 (KOM 018), Serbia implements the KA2 CBY project “Safebook for safe youth” in cooperation with Beyond Borders Italy– Italy, Idea for Life – Poland, Perspektiva – Albania, Crveni Križ NOVO SARAJEVO – Bosnia and Herzegovina, JORDAN Youth Innovation Forum – Jordan and Association Euro-Med EVE Tunisia, Tunisia. The project focuses on the safety of young people, especially those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The “Safebook for safe youth” project aims to promote a safety culture among young people through the new “Safebook” handbook in youth work, in the field of youth safety and security. The manual was developed through the Strategic Partnership in the Field of Youth 2021, by KOM 018 together with Beyond Borders and partners from Croatia and North Macedonia and was declared an example of good practice by the Erasmus + Program. The project will provide youth workers and educators with new educational tools in the field of youth safety with a focus on 5 segments: peer violence, online violence, abuse of psychoactive substances, discrimination and mental health of young people, especially during the pandemic. The project is implemented in the period 01.01.2023 – 31.12.2024 and is co-financed by the European Union.
