KOM 018 participated in the educational training course for trainers implemented by Youth Department of Council of Europe in Strasbourg from 20-24. March 2017. The Training Course aims to develop the competences of youth workers and educators to work with young people to develop counter and alternative narratives to hate speech based on the manual “WE CAN”. The manual proposes (alternative) narratives based on human rights and democratic values, such as openness, respect for difference, freedom and equality.
