Volunteers of Club for youth empowerment 018 in the period of 1.8 till 8.8 were the part of the Youth Exchange “SMARTT” which was organized in a Kekava municipality, 30km away from Riga, the capital city of Latvia. Subject of the youth exchange was to help youngsters to reach time management skills, for their free time, as well for studying.
Our youngsters had an opportunity to present their county and culture to other participants, and to get to know other cultures of their participants from Latvia, Great Britain and Romania. Youth exchange was followed with lots for sport activities where youngsters had a chance to participate and to give suggestions to organize some of their own, one of them was group visit to the Baltic Sea. One of the products of this youth exchange was a Flash Mob which summarized the whole gained knowledge and skills of the youth, and with which youngsters presented themselves to the tourists and citizens of Riga. Lyrics and choreography are a product of a collaborative work of participants.Our group from Serbia came back with positive experiences, and encourages youngsters to take part and participate in similar exchanges with our organization.Youth exchange was financed by Erasmus+ programme of Europian Union, and the host of the exchange was organization Solis Tuvak from Latvia.
