City of Paris hosted the Summit of the leaders of the Western Balkans and the Conference of Youth of the Western Balkans on 4th July. The conference was aimed to gather young people of the Western Balkans and the other parts of Europe in order to discuss with European officials about the problems of young people of the Western Balkans and other parts of Europe. The main event of the conference was signing the agreement of the leaders of the Western Balkans on the opening of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office #RYCO of the Western Balkans, which will be extremely important body for all young people in the region as a platform for cooperation and create joint programs with a focus on intercultural learning, democratic governance, economic development, mobility, education and innovation. Agreement on the Establishment of Regional Youth Cooperation Office of the Western Balkans was signed by the prime ministers of Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia.
RYCO, which was established on the model of a similar office for youth cooperation of France and Germany, will have headquarters in Tirana, Albania. Conference participants also had little time for visiting Paris, and we are sharing impressions with you from this very important European event for the youth of the Western Balkans.
