We’re excited to announce our new project — Media Literacy Empowered 2.0! 

Beyond Borders Italy – Italy together with its partners Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) – Serbia, Youth Vibes – Serbia, Armenian Progressive Youth (APY) – Armenia, NGO Unit – Ukraine and Loesje Georgia – Georgia implements project Media Literacy Empowered – new methodologies in youth work as follow up project to small-scale partnership project implemented in 2023 and 2024. Project aims to raise awareness about the importance of media literacy among young people. Specific objectives of the project are to develop new methodologies in youth work in the field of media literacy and combat against oppressive content in media, to equip youth workers, teachers and educators with set of new educational tools in the field of media literacy and combat against negative effects of media content and to raise awareness about ethical media coverage among young people in partner countries. Media Literacy Empowered project uses a combination of research, non-formal education, creative methods, and awareness-raising campaigns to address media literacy challenges in a comprehensive and engaging manner. The activities will be organized in Italy, Serbia, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine. The project is implemented from November 2025 to October 2027 and is co-financed by the EU.
