A highlight of the exchange was the upcycling workshop, where participants creatively transformed discarded technological materials into functional and meaningful items 🎨🔧. This activity emphasized the value of circular thinking and showed how innovation and creativity can give new life to what is often considered waste.
Beyond the educational program, the exchange fostered intercultural learning, cooperation, and strong connections among participants 🤝💬. By encouraging active participation, critical thinking, and collaboration, the project empowered young people to reflect on their role in creating more sustainable and responsible communities.
Terra Mater Cicala association, with the support of @KOM 018 – Club for Youth Empowerment 018 / Klub za osnaživanje mladih 018 – Serbia, @Impress – Croatia, @COSI – Civic Orientation and Social Integration – Romania, @Amigos de Europa – Spain and @Danish Youth Team – Denmark, implemented the youth exchange “EUnited for Sustainable Tech”, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Unoin. The youth exchange aimed to engage young participants in understanding the effects of overproduction of tech devices on our planet through non-formal education, experiential learning, simulation activities and creative practices. ✨
We strongly thank @agenziagioventu for the support!
