Day 1
During the first day of our training we had a chance to get know each other. We were playing several team building games and name games.
We have also decided on common rules of the training and discussed a plan for the next days. In the afternoon we divided ourselves into photography and comic groups.
We finished the day with a little party.
Day 2
Yesterday we learned a lot about street art and history of Nis. We did it through the photo concept, trying to get the best from the streets.
In the first part of the day we learned about Erasmus+ by making short and interactive presentations. We spent the night having the dinner in a traditional restaurant, kafana, Nislijska Mehana, in which we were singing and dancing folk music and then…..DISCO!!
Day 3
Morning session started with energizer as every day. After that we had really interesting workshop, Leila and Muhamed, which helped us realizing why is important not to have stereotypes, prejudices and mostly why should not we discriminate.
In the afternoon we divided into comics and photo group and we started brainstorming and work on the topics of the workshop.
The evening was memorable, first because of preparing all the typical meals in the kitchen (maybe the only place with so many languages during the cooking progress). Then we presented our countries during the intercultural night with a lot of food, drinks, jokes and dancing as well. We were singing until the morning and honestly this was the best experience so far.
Day 4
This day, like every other day, started with energizer and drawing a part of our Frankenstein’s. Then we discussed about diversity and discrimination. We were divided into a teams and we talked about marginalized groups in our countries.
The lunch was organized as a picnic at Bubanj monument park, and we sent our positive messages to the world via flying balloons. In the afternoon we continued our work on photos and comics.After the great dinner we went into a nice bar and relaxed ourselves with a good music and drinks.
Day 5
We started the morning with an energizer and then we had a thematic workshop called Albatros. One by one we entered on Albatros Island and we tried to integrate and to understand their culture and habits. At the end of the workshop we realized that we are different in the world and we have to accept and avoid judgments. Next we talked about culture its components and we applied the Iceberg Model for better understanding the visible and non-visible elements.
In the afternoon session we started with a funny energizer in order to be in good mood for the PHOTO and COMICS workshop. We selected the best picture and comics for the next day exhibition.We closed the day with a game, the day evaluation and a good meal in in a traditional restaurant with live music.
Day 6
The last day of the training course has come.
We started the day with energizer and then we start with preparation for the exhibition.
Exhibition was organized at Youth Center in the city. Everything was great, we had many visitors and our photos and comics looks very nice on the walls.After the exhibition we had final activities, we did evaluation for the whole training and then we had a free time. In the evening all of us went to one nice club and we had a really great night.
