Partner meeting within the project “Media Literacy Empowered”

Beyond Borders Italy in cooperation with KOM 018 – Club for Youth Empowerment 018 / Klub za osnaživanje mladih 018 – Serbia and Asociación Socio-Cultural VerdeSur Alcalá – Spain implements the project “Media Literacy Empowered” through a set of activities which are aimed at development of new youth friendly methodologies and tools for increase of media literacy among young people, youth workers and other relevant target groups.General objective: To raise awareness about importance of media literacy among young peopleSpecific objectives:• To develop new methodologies in youth work in the field of media literacy and combat against oppressive content in media• To equip youth workers, teachers, and educators with set of new educational tools in the field of media literacy and combat against negative effects of media content• To raise awareness about ethical media coverage among young people in 3 countries.Project “Media Literacy Empowered” is implemented in Italy, Serbia and Spain in the period 01.06.2023 – 31.10.2024 and is financed by European Union through Erasmus + Program.
