From 7 to 11 September 2026, the Meeting of Experts and Training of NextGen Clinic Coordinators was organised in Niš, Serbia, as an important preparatory activity for the establishment and operation of the Employment and Entrepreneurship Clinics.
The meeting brought together experts in youth employment, entrepreneurship, vocational training and business development, alongside coordinators appointed by project partners.
During the activity, participants worked on defining the framework and methodology for the clinics, their main objectives, participant selection criteria and available support services. Special attention was given to training the national clinic coordinators in clinic management, work with beneficiaries, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and the delivery of programmes focused on self-employment, entrepreneurship and employment support.
Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) 🇷🇸, together with its partners RDAS – Regional Development Agency South 🇷🇸, Beyond Borders 🇮🇹, Blackwater Training 🇮🇪, Nordic Crew 🇩🇰, Youth Progress 🇨🇿 and ATDD 🇷🇴, proudly launched the NextGen Opportunity project, a forward-thinking initiative aimed at combating youth unemployment, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups across Europe. The project seeks to map the employment landscape and identify gaps in existing support systems in six European countries, establish NextGen Entrepreneurship & Employment Clinics that will provide practical support to young people, promote self-employment and entrepreneurial thinking, engage key stakeholders and policymakers in improving youth employment systems, and advocate for long-term systemic changes in policies affecting young people. Through research, mentorship, skills development, job placement support and a strong advocacy campaign, NextGen Opportunity will connect young people with real employment and entrepreneurship opportunities while contributing to innovation in the field of youth employment. The project is implemented from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2027 in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Romania and Serbia and is co-funded by the European Union. 🇪🇺
