As part of the NextGen Opportunity project, we carried out focus groups together with the Regional Development Agency South to better understand the challenges young people face when entering the labour market.

Through open discussions, participants shared their experiences, needs, and ideas for improving employment opportunities and fostering entrepreneurship. The insights gathered will contribute to recommendations for policymakers and the business sector, helping create better opportunities for young people across Europe.

Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) , together with its partners RDAS – Regional Development Agency South , Beyond Borders , Blackwater Training , Nordic Crew , Youth Progress and ATDD , proudly launches the project NextGen Opportunity, a bold and forward-thinking initiative to combat youth unemployment — especially among vulnerable groups across Europe.

Map the employment landscape and identify support gaps in 6 European countries

Launch NextGen: Entrepreneurship & Employment Clinics to offer real, practical support to young people

Boost self-employment and entrepreneurial thinking among youth

Engage key stakeholders and policymakers in reshaping youth employment systems

Advocate for long-term, systemic change in employment policies affecting young people

Through research, mentorship, skills training, job placement support, and a strong advocacy campaign — this project will connect young people with real opportunities and drive innovation in youth employment.

The project will run from 01.11.2025 to 31.10.2027 in Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Romania and Serbia and is co-funded by the European Union .
