We are proud to share the Deliverable 3 Report<\/strong> of our project \u201cBuilding Bridges \u2013 Wheelchair Basketball\u201d<\/em>, which highlights the international training held in Barcelona, Spain<\/strong>, and the subsequent local testing activities<\/strong> implemented across five partner countries<\/strong> \u2014 Spain, Serbia, Portugal, Ireland, and North Macedonia.<\/p>\n The international training gathered 22 experts, including coaches, professors, physical therapists, and athletes, who worked together to validate and test the newly developed Manual for Wheelchair Basketball<\/strong>. Led by top professionals such as \u00d3scar Trigo Diez<\/strong>, the sessions combined theoretical insights with on-court practice, promoting wheelchair basketball as both a sport and a tool for inclusion.<\/p>\n Following the training, each partner organization conducted local testing activities<\/strong> between July and September 2025. These sessions engaged over 120 participants<\/strong>, integrating the Manual into real club environments, universities, and community events. The results confirmed its value as a comprehensive and adaptable resource for coaches and athletes at all levels.<\/p>\n The activities not only strengthened professional competences but also raised awareness about the importance of wheelchair basketball for inclusion, empowerment, and social participation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
