Beyond Borders \u2013 Italy in cooperation with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) \u2013 Serbia and Asociacion Socio-Culturale VerdeSur Alcala (ASCVA) \u2013 Spain implements the project \u201cMedia Literacy Empowered\u201d through a set of activities which are aimed at development of new youth friendly methodologies and tools for increase of media literacy among young people, youth workers and other relevant target groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
General objective: To raise awareness about importance of media literacy among young people<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Specific objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 To develop new methodologies in youth work in the field of media literacy and combat against oppressive content in media<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 To equip youth workers, teachers, and educators with set of new educational tools in the field of media literacy and combat against negative effects of media content<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 To raise awareness about ethical media coverage among young people in 3 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Project \u201cMedia Literacy Empowered\u201d is implemented in Italy, Serbia and Spain in the period 01.06.2023 \u2013 31.10.2024 and is financed by European Union through Erasmus + Program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
