\n Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) implements\n\u201cBezbedNi 2020\u201d project in co-operation with 6 local secondary schools (First\nNis Gymnasium \u201cStevan Sremac\u201d, Gymnasium \u201cBora Stankovic\u201d, Art School Nis,\nMusic School Nis, Mechanical School Nis and Gastronomy \u2013 Touristic School Nis)\nand project activities are focused on the empowerment and inclusion of\nsecondary schools students in the campaign on the importance of safety. The\nproject is especially focused on those segments of safety of greater importance\nfor young people: peer violence, traffic safety, discrimination and hate speech\non different grounds (nationality, religion, sexual orientation and similar)\nand abuse of psychoactive substances and alcohol. Moreover, due to Covid-19\noutbreak, part of the project is focused on the safe behaviour and preventive\nmeasures in order to combat Covid-19 spread among young people and protection\nof mental health of young people during crisis situations. Based on the\nprevious best practices, this project contributes to the increased\nparticipation of youth in the development and implementation of the local youth\nsecurity policy through their active role in different actions. One of the\nproject activities implemented in previous period is \u201cTraining for peer\neducators\u201d which provided young people with an opportunity to acquire new\nknowledge, competences and skills and to learn how to transfer everything\nacquired on mentioned segments of youth safety to their peers. Training was\norganized in online form, but it didn\u2019t lower its quality and results. Project\n\u201eBezbedni 2020\u201c is implemented in the period 05.10.2020 \u2013 04.05.2021. and is\nsupported by OSCE Mission to Serbia within the project Consolidating the\ndemocratization process in the security sector in the Republic of Serbia,\nfunded by Swedish Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
