Day 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

01.09.2014.<\/strong>
\n
\nThe first day of the project Play for Peace was quite interesting. In the morning we started the day with an energizer, to raise a little bit the energy in the group, considering that some participants arrived late in the night. After filling up our minds with energy, we started to get to know each other a little better. We made \u201cnon-formal passports\u201d for each other and portraits so we have a face to associate to the names.<\/span><\/p>\n

And because a lot of people with a lot of names need a game to help them remember their names, we also had name games.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon we did team-building activities in order to prepare ourselves for the upcoming workshops, workshops which will be based on group work. We had to save our eggs, we tested our knowledge about Serbia, and we built towers from screws and so on. The games paid off since at the end of the day we knew some more names and felt more comfortable with each other.<\/p>\n

In the evening we got a chance to present the Ngo\u2019s that are part of the project and after that we used music as a tool to socialize a little bit more at the welcome party.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Day 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

02.09.2014.<\/strong>
\n
\nAfter an excellent energetic party in the previous evening, we started the next day with a little artistic assignment, which was drawing one body part of Frankenstein (IT\u2019S ALIVE \u201cthunders and lightings\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n

Next we continued to traditional games, each country presenting one of their traditional games, giving an insight to the childhood of the respective countries.<\/p>\n

Fun and games is always welcomed, right ?<\/p>\n

Afterwards we divided into 4 groups and received our next assignments for the day. Which was photo hunting around the beautiful city of Nis. Some of the assignments consisted in taking pictures in an unusual way, finding the most beautiful spot in the city etc. It also provided the members of the group with historical information about Nis. With our assignments done for the day, we proceeded to energize ourselves for the upcoming day as we look forward for more awesome assignments, games and creating long lasting friendships. <\/i><\/p>\n

And last but not least, we haven\u2019t forgotten about our Secret Friends. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Day 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

03.09.2014.<\/strong>
\n
\nThird day developed to be a good and faithful regarding our knowledge about futsal, fair play, and hooliganism. We were divided into two football teams and asked to create our own team flags, songs and names. It was a real success because we enjoyed. The teams played for the scores but in the end the scores didn’t matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

We finished the day with beautifully organized and never-ending intercultural night with traditional dances and food.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Day 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

04.09.2014.<\/strong>
\n
\nThe day started with a game in which we have realized that we should think out of the box: \u201cTake off one thing from yourself\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

After coffee break we talked about the differences between stereotypes, discrimination and prejudice.<\/p>\n

Later we were divided in groups and we were writing a Hip-Hop, reggae, metal and Balkan folk song about same topic: \u201cPlay For Peace\u201d.<\/p>\n

After that, we went outside to play games without boarders and to make a picnic but unfortunately the rain destroyed our plans so we had to improvise and did them inside the hotel.<\/p>\n

In the end of the day we were having dinner outside and also left for a coffee.<\/p>\n

It was wonderful day and we expect a better one tomorrow. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Day 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

05.09.2014.<\/strong>
\n
\nWe started the morning in a very interesting way. The activity we did was related to stereotypes, how we tend to follow the group and not think for ourselves. The Albatros game was meant to make us understand that things are not always what they seam and we shouldn’t judge people at their first appearance.<\/span><\/p>\n

After that we started to plan some local activities using FARE program. We started developing our small projects and we scheduled them for the future. As it appears, we discovered a new tool to use sports for promotion of fight against racism and discrimination.
\nIn the afternoon we got physical because we visited a local martial arts gym were we learned different types of martial arts. Self-defense, judo are just a couple of them. It was both interesting and exciting.<\/p>\n

We ended the day in a local restaurant, tasting local food and local atmosphere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Day 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

06.09.2014.<\/strong>
\n
\nAnd the last day has come. <\/i>
\nWe start the day with very interesting \u201cHa-Ha\u201d energizer and then we drew the final part of our Frankensteins, the legs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then we presented, country by country, our small projects that we started to write the day before, and we applied for them online.
\nAfter that it was the time to everyone find out who is whose secret friend, we evaluate the whole training and wrote to each other positive messages on the papers on our back.<\/p>\n

The afternoon was free and in the evening we had great farewell party in the great bar. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
