{"id":10456,"date":"2026-07-15T12:07:24","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kom018.org.rs\/?p=10456"},"modified":"2026-07-15T12:07:24","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:07:24","slug":"fokus-grupe-media-literacy-empowered-2-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kom018.org.rs\/en\/fokus-grupe-media-literacy-empowered-2-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Focus Groups &#8211; Media Literacy Empowered 2.0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"ytAttributedStringLinkInheritColor\" dir=\"auto\"> \ud83d\udcac From Italy to Ukraine, young people came together as part of the Media Literacy Empowered 2.0 project to talk about one of the most important topics today &#8211; media literacy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ytAttributedStringLinkInheritColor\" dir=\"auto\">Across all partner countries, focus groups explored how young people consume information, recognize misinformation, and experience the influence of social media and digital platforms. <\/span><span class=\"ytAttributedStringLinkInheritColor\" dir=\"auto\">The ideas, concerns, and recommendations shared during these discussions will directly contribute to the development of new youth work methodologies that respond to the realities of today&#8217;s media landscape. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ytAttributedStringLinkInheritColor\" dir=\"auto\">Beyond Borders \u2013 Italy together with its partners Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) \u2013 Serbia, Youth Vibes \u2013 Serbia, Armenian Progressive Youth (APY) \u2013 Armenia, Unit \u2013 Ukraine and Loesje Georgia \u2013 Georgia implements project Media Literacy Empowered \u2013 new methodologies in youth work as follow up project to small-scale partnership project implemented in 2023 and 2024. Project aims to raise awareness about the importance of media literacy among young people. Specific objectives of the project are to develop new methodologies in youth work in the field of media literacy and combat against oppressive content in media, to equip youth workers, teachers and educators with set of new educational tools in the field of media literacy and combat against negative effects of media content and to raise awareness about ethical media coverage among young people in partner countries. Media Literacy Empowered project uses a combination of research, non-formal education, creative methods, and awareness-raising campaigns to address media literacy challenges in a comprehensive and engaging manner. The activities will be organized in Italy, Serbia, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine.
