From 12–15 January 2026, partners gathered in Cavan, Ireland for the Researchers’ Meeting coordinated by Blackwater Training. The meeting focused on developing a common research framework on employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship, including survey design, focus groups, key indicators and evaluation criteria. Participants worked together to define research objectives, methodology, roles and timelines that will guide upcoming research activities across all partner organizations.

Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) 🇷🇸, together with its partners RDAS – Regional Development Agency South 🇷🇸, Beyond Borders 🇮🇹, Blackwater Training 🇮🇪, Nordic Crew 🇩🇰, Youth Progress 🇨🇿 and ATDD 🇷🇴, proudly launches the project NextGen Opportunity, a bold and forward-thinking initiative to combat youth unemployment — especially among vulnerable groups across Europe. 🌍

What’s the mission?

✅ Map the employment landscape and identify support gaps in 6 European countries

✅ Launch NextGen: Entrepreneurship & Employment Clinics to offer real, practical support to young people

✅ Boost self-employment and entrepreneurial thinking among youth

✅ Engage key stakeholders and policymakers in reshaping youth employment systems

✅ Advocate for long-term, systemic change in employment policies affecting young people

🛠️ Through research, mentorship, skills training, job placement support, and a strong advocacy campaign — this project will connect young people with real opportunities and drive innovation in youth employment. 📅 The project will run from 01.11.2025 to 31.10.2027 in Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Romania and Serbia and is co-funded by the European Union 🇪🇺.
