KOM 018 organized information and motivational workshops for beneficiaries from Jablanica Region. Beneficiaries were provided with information about the support measures and opportunities provided by the project, about DIMAK services, motivating beneficiaries to take steps to improve the economic and social situation (with special focus on poor families); a special segment of the workshops was education on CV writing and job interviews. The workshops additionally connected the beneficiaries with local institutions and mechanisms or referring them to other GIZ programs, DIMAK, National Employment Service and similar. More than 300 beneficiaries participated in the workshopos. Workshops were organized within the project “New opportunities – reintegration of returnees and potential migrants”. Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) implements the project “New opportunities – reintegration of returnees and potential migrants” in the municipalities of Leskovac, Lebane and Bojnik, and overall Jablanica region in the period 15.12.2020 – 14.12.2021. Objective of the project is empowerment of returnees and potential migrants (with special focus on youth and marginalized groups) in Leskovac, Bojnik, Lebane and overall Jablanica region through provision of the opportunities for the employment and permanent integration. Project will support returnees and potential migrants through set of different activities such as motivational workshops, vocational courses, training for entrepreneurship, material support for start-ups and existing businesses as well as mentorship support in regard to employment opportunities and starting/improving the business. The services we provide are supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the Migration for Development (PME) Programme. The Programme is part of the global initiative “Returning to New Opportunities” of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
