The manual covers the basics and rules of wheelchair handball, game techniques and tactics, player classification, required equipment, as well as guidelines for creating an inclusive and safe sports environment. Alongside the theoretical part, it also includes practical exercises, visual materials, and recommendations for engaging communities and stakeholders in the development of inclusive sport

Croatian Wheelchair Basketball Association (HSKUK) from Croatia together with its partners, Faculty of Kinesiology of Osjek (KIFOS) from Croatia, Barcel’hona Sports Events from Spain and Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) from Serbia implements the project “Wheelchair Handball – Start Up” in order to raise awareness about this sport and provide more opportunities for social inclusion in and through sport of people with disabilities. Project aims to establish a sustainable foundation for the growth and development of wheelchair handball across Europe, fostering lasting opportunities for participation and social inclusion of individuals with disabilities. StartUp project will be implemented in Croatia, Serbia and Spain from October 2025 to September 2026. It is co-financed by EU.
